Rachel Dewan

Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, E-RYT500

First and foremost I am a seeker.  For as long as I can remember, I have read, studied, journaled, listened, practiced, and prayed. In my adult life this led me to yoga where, from my first class in college in 1995, I experienced a feeling of connection, support and inclusions that felt like coming home to my own heart. Yoga is a path of lifelong learning and practice that has helped to shape my life in all aspects, both on and off the mat. I have been activity teaching since 2003 and have completed several teacher trainings with some of the world’s most renowned yoga teachers. In addition to Anusara I have had the blessing of studying and practicing many different styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Kundalini.  In addition to a regular schedule of classes I teach Yoga Teacher Trainings, Anusara Immersions, Private and Small Group Sessions, a wide variety of workshops, as well as writing a yoga blog.

Ryann Mickens

Her classes encourage her students to practice mindfulness, gratitude, and overall explore what sparks joy within their lives. Off the mat, Ryann loves hiking, traveling, and of course rock climbing!
She was trained at Hudson River Yoga NY and received her 200hr certication.

Rob Schaefer

Certified Yoga Teacher, RYT200

Rob Schaefer is a yoga teacher and Gravity Vault - USR native. Teaching since 2016, he completed his RYT-200 certification under Joschi Schwarz and Monika Werner in the Chelsea area of NYC.

His yoga journey began as one of healing, looking for a way to repair the damage he subjected his body to pursuing mixed martial arts, surfing, snowboarding and climbing. Rob quickly witnessed his practice evolve: going far beyond simply mitigating bodily damage, but further enhancing him in every aspect and captivating his attention. Yoga embodied the essence of what he craved from all his other endeavors, “flow state”, in a pure and focused way.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse background of movement, Rob’s classes consist of powerful fluid sequences, moderately paced vinyasa flows, deep stretching, and guided meditations. Each sequence offers various levels and modifications so everyone, from first-timer to advanced practitioner, can find appropriate challenge. There is also strong emphasis on alignment, breath work, and above all a state of cognitive flow.

Off the mat Rob works as a holistic wealth planner, owns a small business, brews his own kombucha, experiments with biohacking, and spends weekends hiking and climbing.
