FIRST TIME VISITOR?

We're looking forward to seeing you.  To make your visit fun and rewarding we've got everything you need to know for First Time Visitors.

NEW CLIMBER?

The easiest, fastest and most rewarding way to get started is to scheudle a 1 Hour Private Staff Belay or to take an Introduction To Climbing class. Or check out all the other options to climb.

EXPERIENCED CLIMBER?

• There are many options awaiting you at The Gravity Vault Marin.  Start with a Day Pass or explore our Membership Options.  
• For those experienced in top rope belaying with a Petzl Grigri (ages 14+), take our free top rope belay test. Once belay certified, you are can use any of the top ropes and Auto Belays. Additionally, you can also belay uncertified climbers and assist them with the Auto Belays.
• If you are not familiar with a Petzl Grigri and would like to top rope, we suggest you sign up ahead of time for our Top Rope Belay Class. After completing the class you may stay and climb as long as you would like on a temporary belay certification. 
• Interested in lead climbing? For those experienced and ages 16+, once you pass your top rope belay certification, talk to our staff to find time to can take a lead climbing test. Alternatively, if you would like to learn to lead, you can sign up for our Lead Climbing and Belaying Class.

LOOKING FOR KIDS PROGRAMS?

Private staff belays, after school or weekend classes, youth team, birthday parties, camps and more.  We've got it all.  Explore the Kids Options and give us a call to reserve your spot!

BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

The perfect kid's birthday party idea - Rock Climbing in Marin!  Host your kid's birthday party with The Gravity Vault where kids ages 5 and up can come climb and have fun. The birthday party lasts for two hours, which includes 1.5 hours of climbing and a half hour to celebrate in our party room.
